The Iowa League of Cities hosted a webinar on Friday, November 17 on The Value of Public/Private Partnerships: Case Studies from Norwalk and Eldridge. The webinar was moderated by Mickey Shields from the League and featured two panelists: Hollie Zajicek from the City of Norwalk and Joe Stutting from the North Scott School District.

The webinar was organized with the help of Denovo Construction Solutions. Denovo specializes in work with Municipalities and K-12 Education in Iowa. Denovo gets involved very early in the project process to help projects become a reality. Denovo services include planning, programming, concept designs, budgeting, and full construction management. Denovo is working with the City of Norwalk on their new community sports campus.

Iowa’s Nutrient Reduction Exchange

American Rescue Plan Infrastructure Investments: Sustainable Infrastructure

The League, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, the Iowa Association of Counties and Drake Law School Agricultural Law Center hosted a webinar on December 14. They discussed ways to use your city’s ARP funds and learn more about the type of sustainable investments made through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). If a project meets the requirements for funding under these programs, it is considered an eligible expenditure of ARP funds.
