Did you know AARP could be the largest membership organization in your community? It’s true. AARP Iowa has nearly 350,000 members across Iowa and we are working to ensure communities are livable and age-friendly (ages 8-80) as demographics continue to skew older according to recent census data. To us, “livable” means safe streets, walkable neighborhoods, outdoor spaces, and affordable housing, to name a few areas of focus.
